​Andre Deshotel, M Ed. has been passionately serving education for over 15 years. His experience ranges from middle school teacher, district instructional coach, and elementary assistant administrator. In his current role as administrator, he progressively supports students by applying a neuroscience lens on behavior, strengthens teacher capacity in classroom management and student engagement, and collaborates with families and community partners to enhance student achievement. For the last ten years, Andre has been a certified Whole Brain Teaching trainer that has provided him with vast experience in crafting and facilitating professional development across the nation. In addition, he provides schools and districts with engaging, robust classroom management and behavior training, along with coaching/mentoring 0-3 year teachers, turning both his applied research and on-the-go experiences into meaningful and practical support. Andre is always ready to jump into the trenches to serve teachers and students any way he can!

Kristy Lonsberry is a dedicated and compassionate professional with a unique blend of expertise in both graphic design and counseling. She graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a degree in Graphic Design, before pursuing a Master’s in Counseling and Guidance, which led to her achieving her Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification. Throughout her career, Kristy has been deeply committed to supporting children and adolescents who have experienced trauma, anxiety, grief, depression, and various behavioral challenges. Her passion lies in working with children, teachers, and families, helping to foster resilience and create positive change, one day at a time. Kristy is driven by her desire to improve the lives of those she serves and believes in the power of empathy and understanding to make each day a little better for the children and educators she works with.

Brandy Ponthie earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Louisiana State University, with certification in Pre-K through 8th grade. With 18 years of teaching experience, she transitioned from the classroom to join the ABA School Consultants team as an Education Behavior Consultant and professional speaker. This position has afforded her the opportunity to be an advocate for students with autism and related disabilities. Through the development and implementation of strategies and interventions, Brandy equips educators, teachers and parents with effective tools to address and improve behavior challenges, facilitating success both inside and outside the classroom. Her passion lies in making a positive and lasting impact in the lives of students. Brandy’s goal is for students with disabilities to feel valued and for their uniqueness to be appreciated and celebrated. She is dedicated to helping every child reach their full potential and achieve lifelong success.

Jennifer Thorpe has always been driven by a deep passion for supporting individuals with autism and related disabilities. After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and completing her BCaBA coursework and supervision requirements at the University of North Texas, she knew she wanted to dedicate her career to specialized programming and education. Before joining ABA School Consultants in 2015, Jennifer served as the Supervisor of the ABA and Autism Learning Center and QMRP Manager at St. Mary’s Residential Training Facility. It was in this residential setting that she truly discovered her purpose —helping children and adults with autism thrive through individualized support and meaningful learning experiences. Jennifer considers it an absolute privilege to work alongside incredible students, teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers every day. She believes that through collaboration, knowledge, and the right strategies, educators can foster both academic and functional success for their students. At the heart of her work is a steadfast commitment to human dignity. She is passionate about providing students with opportunities and skill sets that not only enhance their daily lives but also empower them with confidence and independence. Jennifer shares her expertise through professional development on behavior functions, antecedent- and consequence-based interventions, structured learning environments, task analysis, and effective prompting strategies. Her engaging training sessions help educators create classrooms where students with autism can flourish and reach their full potential. Beyond her professional life, Jennifer is dedicated to volunteerism and advocacy. Whether she’s spending time with her family, chasing new goals, or working toward greater inclusion in schools and communities, she remains steadfast in her mission to make a difference.

Amy Porche is a dedicated Education Behavior Consultant (EBC) and Professional Speaker with over 15 years of experience in Special Education. Throughout her career in the classroom, she worked with students across diverse academic levels and behavioral needs, developing a deep understanding of effective teaching strategies, behavior intervention, and inclusive education. Now, as a consultant, Amy is committed to empowering educators, supporting students, and equipping classrooms with evidence-based strategies to foster both academic and behavioral success. She continues to expand her impact through professional development sessions, workshops, and consultations, helping educators and caregivers implement effective, research-based strategies that promote student growth and success.

LeeAnn Borrel is a proud Alexandria, Louisiana, native with a deep-rooted passion for education and community engagement. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Louisiana State University at Alexandria before beginning her career as a Marketing and Community Representative for a local healthcare facility. However, it was during a year off from work, while substituting at her daughter’s school, that LeeAnn discovered her true calling in education. LeeAnn went on to teach first and second grade at Mabel Brasher Montessori, where she obtained certifications in First through Fifth Grade and Lower Elementary Montessori (ages 6-9). While in the classroom, she found joy not only in teaching students but also in supporting fellow educators, helping them grow as teachers and mentors. Now, as an ABA School Consultant, LeeAnn channels her passion into helping teachers and school staff unlock their full potential. She enjoys presenting on strategies for building meaningful relationships—both in the classroom with students and schoolwide among educators—to foster a strong, supportive learning community. She firmly believes that when students' basic needs are met, they can rise to their fullest academic potential. Beyond her work in education, LeeAnn is an active community volunteer, dedicating her time to several organizations throughout Central Louisiana. When she’s not in schools or classrooms, she cherishes time spent with her family, embracing the joy of service and connection in every aspect of her life.

Phil Brocato is a recognized leader in the field of behavior analysis and organizational performance, with over 15 years of experience helping individuals and organizations overcome challenges and accelerate toward high performance. As the owner of ABA Consultants, Phil leads a team that operates across 27 parishes in Louisiana, specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Organizational Behavior Management (OBM). His firm is widely regarded as the go-to source for behavior modification in educational settings and performance analysis in the professional world. In addition to his work in behavior analysis, Phil serves as an appointed expert in the family court system as a child custody evaluator, providing critical insights into family dynamics and child well-being. Phil is a graduate of Alexandria Senior High, holds a bachelor's degree from Louisiana State University, and earned a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health from Northwestern State University. Beyond his professional achievements, Phil is deeply rooted in his family's legacy in the restaurant industry. He and his wife, Helena, own The Main Dish More, where, according to him, his primary role is doing whatever she tells him to do. Together, they are proud parents of three children who keep them busy with their passion for soccer. Their family philosophy is simple yet meaningful: wasting time together.

Adrienne Madison is a dedicated Licensed Behavior Analyst with a passion for empowering special needs children and their families. As a trauma specialist, she specializes in creating individualized strategies that promote learning, emotional regulation, and independence. Beyond direct intervention, Adrienne collaborates closely with teachers and educators, providing training and support to foster inclusive and effective learning environments. With a deep commitment to advocacy, she works to bridge the gap between home, school, and therapy, ensuring that every child receives the care and resources they deserve.
